I want to learn Chinese language for my business use. I have never studied chinese before and want to learn from basic especially conversation. I want to be able to speak chinese with the suppliers from China as I buy goods from them. I will dedicate as much time as needed for me to be able to talk fluently in Chinese. I would like a teacher who is able to speal thai or english and chinese so I can understand and learn faster and someone who can teach conversation especially business terms.

I was an intermediate to advanced (somewhere in between) in both Mandarin and Cantonese in September 1995 but discontinued study to relocate for school in California. I have been studying Mandarin on and off since 2006 in Seattle and my teacher will be relocating to Texas this summer. I am seeking a new forum to study Mandarin and ideally Cantonese as well.

I arrived in Zhongshan 1 month ago, and I am going to live here. I would like to learn Mandarin to be able to communicate with everyone. For the moment, I have tried to learn by my-self with a book and CD. I am looking for a teacher to give me lessons at home (because I have a baby)twice a week. I recently lived in Beijing for a year and want to move back after finishing my university.
I want to learn Mandarin as it is an interesting language and i want to be able to be fluent in it within a couple of years. My Mandarin is between basic and intermediate. I would like to spend around 2 or 3 hours a week on Mandarin lessons
