Hello My name is Sarah Hawkes, I currently posses an NCEA Level 2 (equivalent to GCSE)in Japanese, I am looking to further this to A level. I am also Very keen to learn Mandarin chinese as i have a keen interest in the eastern languages and culture. I am a very good student and even got a scholarship and lived in japan for a short while to help with my japanese study. I am hoping for a teacher that doesn't live to far from me but i am not botherd at driving.

I'm planning to get employment in China, Shanghai in Q2 - Q3 this year.
I'd like to get a head start with Mandarin. I am an absolute beginner. I learn best through role play simulations & visuals.
I 'm looking for one on one tuition either at my place or neighbourhood cafe. The ideal tutor is someone very well structured, student centered & engaging.
