My reason for learning chinese, mandarin, is to advance my career. My client base and expertise will be broadened.
I am a beginner in chinese, mandarin but am very willing to learn. I have a little grasp of bahasa indonesia.
I am looking for at least 2 sessions per week and at least 2 hours per session. My aim is to develop an intermediate knowledge of chinese, mandarin before June.
I am looking for a teacher that can work with me and help me to achieve my goals as stated above. A teacher that will be available by phone (outside of session times), provide aides for me to study on my own time and push me to learn quickly, is what I am after.

I am planning to go to Malaysia for the Chinese Nwe year, that is to say 13-19th of February. I want to spend some hours everyday with a good teacher that focueses mainly on conversationa l Mandarin.
I have been studying Mandarin in Shanghai, I guess my level is intermediate. I can read ( around 500 characters) but my spoken Chinese is very bad - and I myself am very shy.
What I need is someone who can give me private lessons, preferably somewhere at beach in a morning and some hours later in the evening.
I have not booked my holiday yet, I am easy as far as the location is concerned. The only requirement for the location is that it must be by a beach - or at least have a swimming pool as i basically come to Malaysia for a beach holiday.
