I would like to learn Punjabi as my mother in law does not speak English as well as manu of my other in-laws an I would love to be able to have conversations with them without having my husband or sister-in-law near by all the time to translate for me.I am willing to dedicate a fair amount of time with this as we have plans to go to India in December of this year.

I am a beginner. I have a few books that I have just started but feel I would do better is I had someone to wearn from.
I am learning Punjabi becuase my partners family origniates from Punjab. When I visit I would like to be able to understand/co mpunicate without always resorting to them speaking English.
I work long hours so lessons would have to be either evening of preferably weekends.

-Can understand punjabi well enough to get by, as well as read and write quite a bit, however speaking it is a different story, not as good as I would like to be. I want to learn it in order to go back to India next summer and be able to fully understand and carry out conversations . Conversation is the main area I would like to improve but I would like to know as much as possible in a few months.
