I want to learn Spanish as I travelled in Central and South Amreica last year and want to return there next year to work. I took a beginners course about a year ago but, without practice, I find it difficult to remember much of what I learned. I would like to learn grammar but am particularly interested in conversation. I would like to spend one or two hours a week learning. As for qualties I would look for in a teacher, I think I would like someone who loves to teach, is friendly, approachable and patient.

I would like to learn both of these languages so that I can talk to some of my friends in their native tongues. Plus, I think they sound really nice and I think that since I want to become a teacher, knowing more than just English would be helpful.
I am a beginner in both languages, Portuguese being my weaker language.
I really need help with grammar, but I need help in conversation as well.
I would like to have a lesson at least one a week for at least 1 hour.
I would like my teacher to be fun, hands-on, and encouraging.
