I am an absolute beginner, no experience with chinese/manda rin. I have always been interested in learning more about chinese culture and participating in the chinese community within Victoria B.C.. I have very much respect for the Chinese community and a fascination with their beautiful culture. I am also an avid culinary enthusiast. I am hopeful that a better understanding of the chinese/manda rin language will open possibilities for working within Victoria's China Town- offering my culinary experience, and gaining a rich knowlege in chinese culture!

Just above beginner French (from what I remember in high school)
I am learning French (as well as Italian, Spanish, and eventually Mandarin or Cantonese) for career advancement and personal reasons.
I wish to become fluent in French and Italian, followed later by Spanish, so I need improvement in grammar and conversation
I am available to dedicate as much time as possible to learning languages (daily for multiple hours). I wish to learn as quickly as possible.
Te acher must be fluent in the language I learn, have experience teaching, and be able to prepare me for actual conversations while in Quebec and France, or Italy.

I know some words in ukrainian, but i cant really follow conversation. I want to learn the language because my tato know's how to speak the language. I need improvement on everything i took the basics in school, but that was a while ago. I will be willing to workout a schedual that will best fit my teacher and my schedual. I am looking for a teacher that is easy going and doesent push his or her students, i would like the lessons to be fun rather than being too serious.
