I have many chinese speaking friends and would love to be able to communicate with their families. I also am a huge fan of learning a new language and think that chinese would be a great one to learn. Although I have been told Mandarin would be easier i would prefer cantonese. I am at the begginner level and have done some audio cd lessons but would like to be able to carry a conversation. I work throughout the week and would like to dedicate some evenings to learning a new langauge.

I want to learn arabic to better my knowledge of the language and eventually speak it fluently for my own personal benefit.
I want to learn everything there is to know about the language from grammar to conversation.
I would like to dedicate an hour 2-3 times per week if possible.
Th e qualities that I would like to see in an instructor includes patients as well as a comfortable pase so that I can master the language.
