I have completed a 1st year Mandarin course at the University of Toronto. I am learning Mandarin because I find Chinese culture attractive, because I would like to take vacations in China and Taiwan, and because I believe it will help my career. I feel my greatest struggle learning Chinese in Toronto will be practicing my speaking and listening skills. I would like to take approximately two hours of private lessons per week in addition to the time I will spend studying Mandarin in school and studying at home. I would like to have a teacher who will force me to use correct intonation and pronunciation .

Hello, my name is Mandi and I am looking for someone to teach me Spanish at an accredited level. I am 18 years old and would have taken it in high school if it was offered. I am looking to attend a college in which I will be studying two languages but need the one, being spanish, to have already been studied. I have taken conversationa l spanish at the begginers level and enjoy the language very much. I can dedicate two days a week to lessons and am extremely flexible with the time.
