I am still quite a beginner in Japanese. I have about a year of lessons under my belt (at Carleton University in Ottawa) and I am currently studying Art at Camosun. I have lost a lot of what I have learned but can still read hiragana and katakana fairly well (though slightly slower than I was able to last year) and with a quick revision I will easily catch up on the 200 or so kanji I have studied as well.
I am looking to study Japanese in the summer while I don't have other classes to worry about. Help! :D

My partner and I are considering a potential move to Belgium if we are approved for permits, to work and study respectively.
Our level of proficiency in Dutch is absolute beginner, so far only using Pimsleur CDs and books just to get some exposure to the language. We are seeking a structure with a teacher, perhaps a once a week lesson and depending on how things go, perhaps twice per week. Ideally to start we would meet for an hour to 2 hours each week.

I have taken Russian 100 and I am now taking russian 200 which is much more difficult and requires much more writing. I am having much trouble and require help, especially with pronouciation . I am hoping to go work in Russia in the future so I require a very good teacher. Experience is a must and preferably a Russian native speaker. I want to dedicate a good two years to ensure I have covered all the necessities of the language. I would like a teacher who knows what he/she is doing. Cheers!
