I am trying to find a way to learn Russian due to my work environment. About 40% of the people I come in contact with speak Russian and I completely understand the language barrier. It not only is it difficult on my end but I know they struggle as well. I will be a beginner with no background in the language at all. I am willing to spend two to three hours a week to learn the language. I really am looking to be able to speak the language well enough for them to understand me so work can go smoother. -I`am trying to learn korean as i have plans of doing my masters in Korea and i think knowing the language would be a big advantage.
- I`am a beginner
- I would love to learn proper grammer and to be able to tal fluently with any korean speaking person, also would love read and write the language
-I could probably dedicate 3-4 hours a week for the lessons

Dear prospective teacher,
W e are looking for a private tutor for our 10 year old son who is a native speaker of Mandarin but lives in the US. His Mandarin is fluent and without accent but he needs to expand his oral vocabulary and he needs to learn how to read and perhaps write (traditional characters are preferred). He has some beginner's level grasp of reading with the support of Pinying but can so far only partly read simple stories in characters. We would prefer interactive online lessons because of the higher efficiency and convenience but the teacher would have to provide a stable, good quality interactive system/softwa re also suitable for Chinese characters. Two lessons per week and some small homework would be appropriate. We expect the tutor to have a good neutral accent and a friendly, patient and engaging personality. The focus should be on every day situation vocabulary from interesting and age-appropria te sources.

I'm learning Japanese because I am half Japanese. I go to Japan sometimes to visit family and I cannot understand or speak a lot. Also, I want to know another language for business purposes. I would say that I am a beginner at Japanese. I know Hiragana and Katakana. But, I'm not very good with grammar. What I really want to focus on is conversation and speaking. I don't care much for reading or writing. The most important thing to me right now is speaking it. I want to dedicate as much time as possible to the lessons. maybe 2 times a week. What I'm looking for in a teacher is that their native language is Japanese and they know how to teach well. I want to know that I can learn. I don't like to rush through things. I expect the teacher to be very organized and prepared to teach.
