I have taken Spanish in high school and college, grew up with a Mexican American father who spoke Spanish but did not teach me the language. I want to learn for myself and this would help with communicating with relatives, travel and my work in the library. I think the thing I need is better vocabulary and retention of the words. I am going to be entering my senior year at Princeton University. I am minoring in Mandarin Chinese and would like to practice one on one conversation before I go back to school. I have taken three years of mandarin and spent last summer in Beijing studying. I am hoping to have 5 tutoring sessions per week, each lasting about an hour.
