Hello,
I wanted to learn Spanish because I'm planning on returning to college and I need to fulfill a foreign language requirement. Once I re-eneter college, I want to have an advanced level of proficiency so the course work would be easier for me. I'd also like to teach English in Latin America, so I want to be able to communicate easily with people in Spanish speaking countries.
I had a quarter of Spanish in junior high school, so I'd consider myself a beginner.
I need to work on grammar and pronunciation .
I don't know how much time would be needed to reach an advanced level of proficiency. I'd like a recommendatio n from an instructor.
I'd like a teacher who is flexible, a native speaker ,and has a different approach to language instruction.

I am looking for a teacher that will be able to teach myself and my three children Mandarin chinese. My children have already begun basic lessons in school. I would like for the teacher to come to our home in the Coronation Plaza area to give the lessons one hour per week. I prefer to have a set time each week. We are currently available Tuesday through Thursday in the afternoon starting at 4:00pm. I am looking for a teachers who is comfortable teaching small children; someone who is able to create interest in the subject. Please let me know what the total cost would be on a per hour basis.

Soy muy aficionado de la cultura mexicana...po r ejemplo toco los clasicos de Jose Alfredo Jimenez en el piano, me interesa la historia de México, y soy hincha de futbol mexicano.
Lo que quiero es muy sencillo, y será trabajo muy facil. Solamente quiero hablar con alguien por telefono mas o menos una hora cada semana, para mejorar mi habilidad de entender, reconocer modismos, conjugar verbos a toda velocidad, etc. A veces tengo preguntas especificas acerca de gramaticas.
