I am interested in learning to speak Japanese proficiently, and ready and write simple words and phrases. I lived in Japan for one year and attained a conversationa l level and was able to read and write about 250 characters, but it has been four years since returning to the US, and about two years since I have used the language.
I would like to have a live lesson once a week, and will study for two to three hours a week on my own.
I would like a teacher who is fun, and highly perceptive of how a student learns best, and can make individualize d recommendatio ns on how to study to maximize results.

I have begun High school , Notice manny deaf hard hearing students. It caught my attention to see them perform in everyday school life, In fact a deaf student is my classmate for 1st period and I am really interested to learn sign language so I can be able to help them and be their friends.

My boyfriend is Assyrian, and he wants to learn more about his heritage and language. And I am native english speaker, who has taken 7 years of spanish and speak fluently. I have taken and done some self study in arabic.
Ve ry interested in languages and learning about other cultures.
Grammar and pronounciatio n seem to be the most difficult. Memorizing is easy.
