Greetings Professors,
I am currently scouting for a teacher that is capable of giving me lessons on Chinese, Mandarin in the Denver, CO location. I am learning a foreign languange to prepare myself for the global business society. I am majoring in International Business and I believe a third language would benefit me greatly. My proficiency level is beginner. I need to begin from scratch. At this time I am available to dedicate 2 hours a day once a week.
I am looking for a well-rounded and ethical professor. A person that is educated and does not necessarity need to have experience but know the languange as if it were their first. I am a fast learner, hence I need a fast teacher.

I would like to take Spanish in order to keep my brain active, and to some day visit areas of Mexico. My husband is Mexican but only speaks Spanish. He is not familiar with the grammatical parts of the language. My daughter has recently moved to Puebla, Mx.
I have taken Spanish 1 a few times in the past, but gave it up. I have recently completed Rosetta Stone Level 1 and currently am working on Level 2. I usually spend an hour in the morning studying and at least an hour in the evening.

I am an Accountant who got a degree in my country (Dominican Republic) and living in the states since 3 years ago. I'm looking for a good teacher who can help me improve my english. I don't know what's my english level, I'd say it's still intermediate. My main concern is how to speak proper english (a very strong accent!!!), so I can become a better professional. My main language is Spanish, so I guess that anytime I try to say something, I think in spanish and translate into english...and that's when i mess up my speaking!
In order for me to understand, I need to know WHY of certain words,sentenc es or simply grammar, so I'm willing to find a teacher who can help me Understand, someone who uses real life and good examples that I can apply to my daily basis.
I have pleny of time to dedicate to my lessons. Please contact me ASAP because I really need it in order to get better job opportunities .
