I am interested in learning Portuguese. My husband's family is from Brasil and we will be moving there in the next three years, once our house is built. While I know I could learn Portuguese once I arrive there, I would love to be able speak with his family once I get off the plane. I am willing to travel up to 150 miles to obtain lessons from someone in person. I find I don't learn very well over the computer. I would like to meet once a week for lessons. being able to write Portuguese is not nearly as important to me as being able to speak it. But learning both would be great. I speak english as a first lanuage and I also speak German. So I understand the kind of commitment involved with learning another lanuage. I'm ready for the challenge and waiting to hear from someone.

I am a novice level, my mother is in Togo, West Africa but the Ewe language is not documented enough or common enough. While traveling to Ghana and Togo I found Swahili useful in the airport and customs.
I am employed and would only have limited time to learn so I would like work on conversation level.

I am a super beginner(i.e. I can count to ten and read a little).
I want to learn Turkish because my in-laws don't speak English and we're going to be visiting them often. I'd mostly like to work on conversationa l at first, but I'll need help in everything.
I'd like to be tutored once or twice a week if possible.
I' m looking for someone who is either a native speaker, or very fluent to help me learn :)
