I would like to learn Gaelic (Irish) because half of my family is of Irish descent and they do not speak it. I would like to be the first; I'm proud of my heritage and I feel that learning the language would be the first step in immersing myself in the heritage and culture.
M y skill level is at zero. I know a few words and that's it. I'm looking to become entirely fluent; I want to learn sentence structure, pronunciation , and as many words / definitions as possible. I tend to have a varying work schedule, from 15 to 30 hours a week, however, I would be willing to take 1-3 days off per week to learn. I want a teacher who can speak it fluently, as well as a teacher who is willing to move at a pace slow enough so that I can take in the lesson and grasp the concept of whatever is being taught at the time.

Hello my name is Bryan and I am wanting to learn Ukranian language ....I have been talking to a girl over there for 4 months now and she is beginner to intermediate speaker of English so I figured I would help her out by learning her language as well as I will be traveling over there within 6 months.....I am a beginner in the language .....I would like to get alot of information thrown at me maybe 2 times a week and than I can study the information throughout the week....Whate ver the instructor feels is best......I am just looking for someone that is patient and nice.....than ks,Bryan.

I am interested in learning Chinese, Mandarin to further my knowledge of other languages, mainly to have an edge in today's business world. I am looking to start classes immediately at the Beguiners level and go from there, I have graduated High School in Australia, thus I will only beguin college in the Fall and am available mostly at any time during the day.
When I look for a teacher i look for their background and method of teaching, It is a must for a teacher to be originated from the country in which the language i want to learn is the basic; also the method he/she uses to help communicate the language.
