Quizzes > Hindi > Beginner > Hindi Present Tense (conjugation)In order to make the present tense of a verb in Hindi you need to learn the present tense (irregular) of the Hindi verb 'honaa' होना (to be) by heart, then you need to detect the root of the verb by taking off the -naa ending from the infinitive form of the verb. Once you have the root you just need to add the endings according to the gender (masculine/feminine) and the number (singular/plural) of the person and the present tense of honaa. I will use the verb 'karnaa' करना (to do, to make) as a sample for all verbs.
