Alphabets in Malayalam
by Devika KPAlphabets in Malayalam comprises both vowels (swarangal) and consonants (vyanjanangal). They come about 51 in number. Malayalam has more letters as compared to India's national language Hindi; and other south Indian language Tamil. Two langauages are considered as the root sources of Malayalam, they are Sanskrit and Tamil.
The above paragraph gives an idea about the language.
The people whose mother-tongue or native language as Malayalam are called Malayali. The people living in Kerala state, the southern most part of India are Keralites/Malayali.
