Conversation is very important in learning a foreign language. Students are encouraged to speak slowly, clearly, and to make small simple sentences. This allows for the brain to actually think in the foreign language. Students are also encouraged to take note of English media: television, newspapers, etc. |

The most important component of telephone lessons is active, lively conversation. Exercises and assignments can help, but it is really one-on-one exchange that helps a student to build confidence and develop skills. In addition to two degrees in English, I have experience giving telephone lessons to students from a variety of countries, and my student ratings are consistently high because of the individual attention each student receives. Lesson plans are designed for each student, so every person's program is unique. An especially helpful component of the telephone lessons I offer is the individualize d review sent by email after each lesson. |
