I use controlled languages for didactic purposes. The student(s) will use structures which are modelled and graduated to their level, while the language is actually being actively used. Controlled structures allow me the teacher, to present only the section(s) of the grammar needed for that specific lesson. In addition to that, the vocabulary is controlled and informed to an official list of common, every day spoken Italian words. Thus, the student is after just a few classes able to communicate basic thoughts which are not constrained to a specified and restricted topic which comes generally with the Unit based approach. Program Description

The lessons are informed by a non-authorita tive approach, so to speak. This translates into the empowerment of the student to actively use the language. In other words, it is not the traditional sentence learning approach but rather a program based on the acquisition of language ability which frees the individual student(s) from what others (be text books or the teacher him/hersefl) think appropriate.
I will use controlled structures combined with other methods to make your learning of Italian smooth, fun and effective.

I currently teach in major institutions in and around London and the City of London. I taught at UCL and being fully qualified I also teach in a school in inner London.
I have 15 years experience in the field.

Cost of Lessons
|

|
The base rate I charge is £25 per hour.
If you are in a larger group or need extensive tuition, the price will reflect that. I recommend lessons of 1.5hrs each at least once a week but I am flexible and can work around your schedule and/or availability.
