My first step is to evaluate the needs of the student: grammar, comprehension , pronunciation and target use of English. I often devise roleplays for students based on their interests and personality. When it comes to group lessons I encourage all participants to make a hot topic list and send them to me before the first lesson. I then share this information with all participants. I also include TED Talks, News websites, Youtube clips, TV series and encourage students to contribute their own tastes of all of the above. On one occasion a student presented a drone recording of their own neighborhood. My classes are fun, dynamic and the students will see immediate results and gain confidence.

I have been a teacher for 23 years during which time I have gathered a wide set of skills that enhance my student-centr ed approach to a job that I love. My experience includes all ages, levels, group sizes and various nationalities .
I have extensive experience teaching Business English in companies such as IBM, Oracle, and Morgan Stanley Bank. In the Horner School of English, Dublin, I worked primarily on a one to one basis with clients coming to the school for intensive tuition in business English. These clients included senior executives from international companies such as Allianz, Danone, Smurfit Kappa and Cisco.
I specialise in preparing clients for meetings and negotiations and making effective presentations . I am currently teaching online classes with Heineken, Sika and Siemens.I provide dynamic, stimulating classes that show immediate results. I am familiar with the new approach to teaching remotely using Meet, Teams and Zoom.
