I have been a Portuguese tutor for over eight years.
I adopt an informal and relaxed style where speaking the most in Portuguese is the priority. I really think that fun and relaxation are essential tools in the learning process.
In addition to native Portuguese, I am fluent in English and Spanish, and I am learning Hindi and Arabic.
I have an excellent track record in improving students' fluency and confidence in using Portuguese in real-life situations.
I offer online sessions of Portuguese “à la carte”, adapted to the student, that is:
- I work with every level, fundamentals to conversationa l, where there will be an ongoing analysis of patterns of repeated mistakes, which will be later addressed in a more specific way. Typically, at more advanced levels, I like to devote ⅓ to half of the session to grammatical, more technical topics, and the rest of the session to conversation on a wide range of themes.
I also like to use a lot of media, such as videos and games, to work on pronunciation , listening skills, writing and vocabulary.

Olá, hello, hola ;) I'm Diogo from Portugal, and it will be my pleasure to guide you through the Portuguese language and culture, adapting the sessions to you. I have a passion for languages and I really enjoy tutoring, learning and always having fun in the process, adapting games, developing listening skills, having friendly conversations , writing, using videos and songs, text comprehension , pronunciation , entertaining grammar exercises,..
I've studied Management and Informatics, and Digital Marketing. I have been tutoring for over eight years now, it is true I enjoy talking about every subject.
I am Portuguese, 37 years old, currently I'm living in Portugal, always close to the ocean. In addition to native Portuguese, I'm fluent in English and Spanish (I lived in Madrid for 8 years) and at the moment I'm also enjoying learning Arabic and Hindi, I don't dance Bollywood yet ;).
I am very curious, and so I will be delighted to chat with you in Portuguese as soon as possible, share the Portuguese culture and learn about yours.
I love different cultures, sharing views and perspectives, playing the guitar, music, languages, education, the ocean, motorcycles, conversation, literature, nature, sports, sociology, history, science, technology, philosophy, economics, psychology... everything interesting ;D
