- When it comes to learning any language, the basics are the most significant aspect. When I teach grammar, I make the most out of it by making clear what it means and when to use as well as by making my students talk about it or create a conversation with the grammar point. With this, students can understand grammar enough to use it themselves and comprehend it when used.
- I put a lot of input on cultural contexts. Learning languages requires a comprehensive understanding of the language, the people who use the language, and the culture. I use various materials to share Korean content with my students, including Youtube videos, recommendatio ns for Korean dramas or movies, K-pop, and general cultural aspects of Korea. With this, students can gain a diversified perspective on the country. Ultimately, it is what keeps them motivated to learn Korean.
- In class, one of the most important goals is to make people speak. I always ask questions so they can practice what we have learned before, and I offer different vocabulary. They are 100% based on genuine expressions Koreans use in real life. At first, they feel shy and embarrassed to open their mouth and speak in Korean just because they lack practice. I am 100% sure that I can make them feel comfortable speaking in Korean.

We always do reviews about the previous lesson which, particulary, help me so much because sometimes the lessons can be a bit tricky. She is always willing to answer all our questions with a pleasing smile. She is a very thoughtful teacher who puts a lot of thought into how she gives lectures. She always prepares extra materials and games and also makes room for speaking time in korean. As well as talking about some cultural topics. Class atmosphere is always very relaxed, in a good way. So we feel like we can always ask if we have any doubt.
When she explains grammar, she explains the structure and gives examples. Then she asks her students to make their own examples using the new grammar learned so it really helps understanding and remembering in the long term.

She did a great job teaching us how to read and write Hangul by presenting, explaining, and practicing Korean language structures and vocabulary. One of the best teachers I've ever met! Gahye is very motivated, positive and encouraging. I have been studying with Gahye for the past several months now and it has been exactly what I was looking for. I started my journey of learning Korean 9 years ago and can say that I tried to learn it by my own,with others tutors,but neither method gave me the confidence that I will be able to learn the language,unti l I give myself the last chance and start to learn the language with Gahye. I have been studying with Gahye for some time now and I can say without any doubt that she is the best Korean teacher I ever had, she makes every class fun but at the same time with a lot of content so you can learn everything and practice it, you can notice on how she explains that she comes to every class prepared and with a clear idea on her mind of what she wants to do, but also she is good at improvising if some interesting topic appears on the class, and we can learn something with that.
Also, she is the teacher with whom I practiced more my speaking in Korean, she understands that the most important part to learn the language is speaking, and she brings a lot of things to class to just practice conversation, and I think that is great.
I recommend everyone that is thinking about learning Korean to learn with Gahye, you will not regret it for sure.

- My teaching schedule is all adjustable. It can be from 9 am till 9 pm. Since students live in different countries, we need to discuss this.
- My payment policy is nothing special. Students can do a transfer, and that is it. It needs to be paid and confirmed before the class starts, and the amount should be for a month or more.
- When students have emergency issues before class, it needs to be warned 24 hours before the class to cancel. In this way, students will not lose their classes.
