Teaching Approach

I teach and plan my lesson setting goals for each lesson. I will prepare my lesson according to the student's needs. Learning a new language must be enjoyable and efficient, my students feel confident to make mistakes and move forward in their learning journey. I love what I do and it makes a difference.

Program Description

I am an experienced Portuguese Language Teacher. I have worked as a teacher and as a coordinator of the English as Additional Language Department in London. Also, I have the responsibilit y to translate documents for school, lease meetings with non-English speaking parents and prepare students for the Portuguese GCSE Exam.

Teaching Experience

I have been teaching Portuguese and English for about 20 years. I have taught in Brazil and in London. I have experience teaching children, teenagers and adults by applying the proper methodologies according to their needs.

Teacher Training

I have a degree in Bachelor of Arts, specifically in Teaching Portuguese and English and Literature. I have worked for 8 years in London at Royal Docks Community School, in EAL Department teaching English and Portuguese. I have studied English Language and Applied Linguistics at King's College in London. I am a qualified Apple Teacher and I had many teaching courses updates during my career.
Curr ently, I am working as Head of English at Colégio Novo in Brazil and teaching online classes.

I am available at any time because I am able to adjust my timetable according to my private lessons. I use PayPal for payments and the student can have a trial lesson after the payment needs to be in advance.

I am married to a Spanish guy, I am a mother of an 8 years old boy who is trilingual. He speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish very well and is willing to learn other languages. Teaching is my passion since young and runs in the family, I am ready to teach people from different backgrounds and cultures. I hope to see you soon.
