Hello everybody! I am a professional teacher of Russian as a foreign language with 7 years experience for all who speak English and Spanish. I work according to my own learning materials and methodology, and I not only teach the language, but also help to overcome the language barrier, to understand Russian culture, modern Russian language, communication style and mentality better. I guarantee the result both for beginners and advanced students.

Up to 50 students overcame their language barrier and started speaking one of the most difficult languages in the world. One of my students managed to enter The School of Slavonic and Eastern European studies at The University of London and successfully graduated from it. Another student decided to become a tutor of her native language after our lessons.
M y students are mostly adults aged from 18 up to 80. They are students, managers, businessmen, flight attendants, engineers, interpreters, doctors, teachers, retired people, etc. My star students are a successful Austrian inspirational speaker, author and business coach Peter Gastberger; one of the best yoga guru Gabriel Pradiipaka from Argentina; a famous Spanish musicologist Manuel Sánchez García; president and coach of Powerlifting Congress of Colombia Saul Salazar.

I studied at a school of extensive learning of English, so I have been speaking English for more than 20 years. I studied Spanish at Adelante that is the only Russian center of Spanish language accredited by the Cervantes Institute. At the university I also studied Chinese language and Chinese culture. Speaking a foreign language is as easy and necessary for me as breathing!
I consider my personal record to be the rapid mastering of the teaching profession. Just in the same very month when I joined the team of professional teachers of a large European school of Russian language, I was offered to conduct group classes online. It was a fantastic experience! I realized that this was my vocation, and I had to continue doing this and helping people learn one of the most beautiful languages in the world.
Not long ago I started learning French. I helps me to feel myself a student and thus to understand my students needs and necessities much better. I study and improve every day since I believe that a teacher has to educate himself if he wants to be good at what he is doing.

What is the methodology used?
I use communicative approach at my lessons because a language is not just a list of words you need to memorize or grammar rules to learn. Though I pay a lot of attention to Russian grammar that in its turn enables you to communicate easily. I work according to my own methodology and not only teach the language, but also help to overcome the language barrier, to understand Russian culture, modern Russian language, communication style and mentality better. The aim of the lessons is to make each student feel more confident speaking, reading and understanding Russian. Therefore, the lessons are tailored to each student’s specific learning style and needs. We will work on your skills using conversation and different types of exercises. Interactive real-time communication so that you can make necessary notes and work with learning materials at the same time. Homeworks will be given after every session to reinforce and practice the topics covered at the lesson.

D o you provide Russian language certificates?
No, because I am not a Russian course but an experienced private teacher.
How long will it take me to improve my Russian?
It depends on a student and some key factors, including the amount of time you can dedicate to self-study and the frequency of your Russian classes. Normally, it takes from 16 to 25 weeks for students who have classes twice a week move up a level, while other students in similar circumstances may need longer.
Ca n I cancel or reschedule a lesson?
Sure , cancellation and change policy is 24 hours in advance by email. If cancelled or changed within 24 hours before the start of the class, the student will be charged.
W hat happens if I’m late or don’t show up for class?
The lesson will be considered void if the student does not appear by 15 minutes after the scheduled start time. That specific class is subsequently not reschedulable .
Do course packages expire?
Yes, all packages expire within 6 months of start day of payment.
H ow do I use Skype or Google Hangouts?
Ge tting ready for your online Russian lesson with me is quite easy. Just download the free software from Skype.com, create a free Skype account and you will be ready to go in minutes!
If you prefer Google Hangouts you can download and use your gmail account.
You can even use Skype or Google Hangouts from your smartphone or tablet!
If your computer does not have a built-in microphone (and/or camera), you may need to purchase a microphone (and/or camera + headset).

Cost of Lessons

The trial lesson lasts 30 minutes and is free. Then I ask for a deposit that is equal to 5 lessons (22 euros per lesson that is 110 euros total). If you want you may buy lesson by lesson that costs 24 euros each. 5 lessons cost 110 euros (22 euros/lesson) , 10 lessons - 200 euros (20 euros/lesson) , 20 lessons - 380 euros (19 euros/lesson) , 40 lessons - 720 euros (18 euros/lesson) . I use PayPal for the payments.
