Teaching Approach

I support and encourage my students to speak the target language as much as possible. I explain grammar in a structured way that matches my students' learning styles. I use various teaching methods and tools to help my students memorize and use vocabulary and I design activities that enable my students to use all language skills in a natural and purposeful manner. I provide interesting information about various cultures that I have gathered through my education, travel experiences, and friendships with people from various countries.

Program Description

I am a native speaker of Serbian and a PhD student of Applied Linguistics specializing in teaching English to speakers of other languages. I have taught English, Serbian, and Modern Greek as a foreign language. I prepare lessons based on my students' needs and always go the extra mile to make sure that my students feel relaxed and motivated while reaching their goals step by step.

Teaching Experience

I have taught English to speakers of other languages, both adults and children, from various countries in three different schools since 2013. I have given Serbian lessons to several people from various countries residing in Serbia. Additionally, I have taught Modern Greek to A1 and A2 learners.

Teacher Training

I hold an MA degree in English Language and Literature and I am a PhD student of Applied Linguistics specializing in teaching English to speakers of other languages. I am a native speaker of Serbian. I received a B2 Certificate of Attainment in Greek in 2011. I am currently learning German (B1) and Chinese (A2). I speak Spanish at the B1 level.
