Teaching Approach

I tailor my lessons according to the student's goals and preferences, with an emphasis on gaining exposure to articles, books, videos and films he or she finds interesting, rather than textbooks.
I am fluent in French and Chinese, and also speak a little Italian, which enables me to explain concepts more clearly to students who are natives of these languages.

Teaching Experience

I have taught students from Korea, China, Taiwan and Singapore on a one-on-one basis, as well as in immersion programmes.

Teacher Training

I was educated at the University of Melbourne, a top-tier Australian university, and have degrees in law and English literature. I am also a qualified lawyer who has been called to the Singapore Bar. I currently work as a freelance copywriter and have published thousands of articles online and in print.
