I am doing the class using the Video Conferencing thru skype or zoom.us. I will send them the meeting ID day before of our class so he/she can join in my class. zoom.us has capability to share my notes while I am tutoring my student. Then Ill give sometime my student to ask questions or if there will be confusion during our discussion. I have already prepared tagalog lessons. Whatever the lessons we will have I will send it to them to their email address for their reviews and encouraging to practice them everyday.

I am currently doing tagalog tutorial with one of my student in Australia. I usually start in teaching my student on how to read tagalog vowels and pronounciatio n, so it will be easy for them to read while we are in a class conversation.
Then Filipino Common Greetings, Counting, Pronouns, Nouns, Adjectives, Verbs, places in the philippinees, etc. I usually send and share lesson handouts for every class sessions. Then first of 15 minutes of the class will be actual review conversation from the previous lesson.

I was graduated from AMA Philippines with Bachelor Degree in Computer Science. Worked and trained as IT professionals in the Philippines for almost 19 years. I was encouraged by a friend from Australia if I can teach Tagalog online so I tried and started with it year 2005. So most of my students were from Australia because my friend advertised it in one of the sites in Australia. It is a good experience that I can meet and talk people in other country, a chance to know their cultures, goals and motivation in learning tagalog. Currently, I am working in one of the Community Health Office in Michigan and only works 32 hours per week. So my free time is Friday and Saturday (whole day), but I will be available Monday, Wed and Thursday after 6pm.
