Grammar is always contextualise d using a communicative approach with the aim at helping the learner to express himself and interact. I avail myself of written or interactive exercises, excerpts from books, newspapers, magazines, blogs, videos, lyrics, games. The cultural dimension (with its cross-cultura l implications) is of central importance, so my lessons give also an insight into the Italian way of life, art history, literature,co oking, music etc. with reference to authentic materials.

Lessons tailored to the student's needs and interests, available to tackle grammar or cultural topics on request. The emphasis is placed on lexical usage and interaction: at lower levels of proficiency the priority is building vocabulary, at higher levels the focus is on appropriatene ss.

I work as a freelance translator. Foreign languages are my passion and providing a high level of proficiency in the target language (Italian) is of central importance to me.

I graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures (English and German), I am a IATI translator, I earned the Cedils certification (for teaching Italian as a foreign language).
