Teaching Approach

Would you like to be able to speak a foreign language very soon after you've started?
I teach online via Skype or live-in-perso n thereby designing my classes to each student's individual requirements and encouraging him/her to speak apart from reading, listening and writing for these are the four important skills to learn and master a foreign language.
Be sides grammar and word studies I use news articles or texts of interest.
As I am fluent in English and Spanish, lessons can be based on either of these languages. Intensive courses in Majorca can be combined with a holiday stay ( max. 3 persons, you're welcome to bring your family/partne r etc.) ( see 'more info' ).

Enseño tanto 'online' a través de Skype como también en directo y aparte de gramática y vocabulario vamos a trabajar en artículos de noticias y cualquier otro texto de tu interés.
Mis clases se adaptan a las necesidades individuales de cada alumno animándole a hablar aparte de leer,escuchar y escribir los cuales son las cuatro habilidades más importantes requeridos para aprender y manejar un idioma.
Tamb ién estás bienvenido a venir a Mallorca, pasar unas vacaciones estupendas en una finca
( máximo 3 personas,pued es traer a tu familia/parej a etc.) y hacer un curso intensivo conmigo en el mismo lugar ( ver 'more info' ).

Program Description

For my classes I suggest and provide certain course books that we work on ( either available on Amazon or I send them on pdf file ). Additionally I can offer useful tables and lists of words depending on the students' wishes and demands which enables them to self-study after classes. If you wish to come for an intensive and individual course to Majorca, you can be let a typical Majorcan finca in a beautiful little village in the north of the island having live classes at the place you stay or in a nice bar in the surroundings just as you like ( prices on request ).

Teaching Experience

Living in a multicultural environment for more than 13 years and having studied 4 languages myself I've taught German to adults mainly working in tourism and English to children of the local schools.
I love teaching and believe that classes should be fun for the student as well as for the teacher.

Teaching schedule :
The teaching schedule can be arranged individually and flexibly, Monday to Sunday.

Pa yment policy :
Students pay in advance for a minimum of 5 scheduled lessons up to a maximum of 10
either through PayPal or bank transfer.

Cancellation policy :
Even though the normal notice for cancellations is 24 hours in advance, unforeseeable commitments sometimes happen at short notice.
Ther efore my cancellation policy is as follows:
More than 24 hours in advance: no charge.
More than 12 hours in advance: 1/2 price of cancelled lesson.
More than 6 hours in advance: 3/4 price of cancelled lesson.
Less than 6 hours notice: full price of cancelled lesson.
