Teaching Approach

I am positive and encouraging, i value all attempts made by students. I help students gain a understanding about language acquisition and allow them to engage at different levels. I am able to cater for different levels in the same group and also value peer tutoring, where students are encouraged to work in groups and learn from each other.
I also provide inquiry based activities so that students are given opportunities to investigate and discover their own ideas.

Program Description

My teaching would encourage conversationa l use of Italian, students are immersed in practical and relevant activities that they can engage with, such as being able to order at a restaurant, using Italian to interview another person and find out more information, I encourage students to be to be able to read and write and understand italian grammar in context.

I am a qualified primary school teacher with over 15 years experience.
I have taught Italian for two years at a primary school.
