    Teaching Approach


    I firmly believe that a successful language lesson should be able to engage students in a fun and active study relevant to real life situations, so I use a wide range of teaching methods, materials and activities.
    I tailor my lessons based on every individual's needs, capabilities and personality. I understand and convey linguistic and cultural nuances, based on my affinity with languages.

    I am a native Mandarin speaker, have many years of experience in Mandarin Chinese teaching at all levels, especially in beginner Chinese .

    I have two years Chinese language teaching experience both in China and UK to student at all level and age, especially young children.


    I have successfully delivered Mandarin teaching in the following areas:
    • Bus iness and business negotiation
    • Casual (e.g. Conversationa l Chinese, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese painting etc.)

    I also have experience in:
    • Teaching authentic Chinese cooking lessons
    • Working in gallery in China
