My approach is conversationa l. Learning should be fun more than anything, that is my philosophy. Each student is the focus of the lesson, their individual needs become a personal challenge for me to meet in the most effective way possible.
Le ssons are taught solely in the tongue being taught, as long as the level of the student allows it. Young learners are exempt from this as their understanding or not of the language at first does not mean I will be speaking Greek (which as far as they are concerned, I cannot do!) but on the contrary, they must learn English in order to facilitate our playing together.
I have never taught the same lesson twice in all my teaching career. Both the student(s) and I bring our personalities to the lesson and what results is a unique mix every time.
I am also a pronunciation fanatic! I will not allow my students to mispronounce words, no matter how much it pains them at first! I will correct them over and over again ( my patience does appear to be endless, I do surprise even myself at times......!) until the blessed moment comes for the word to sink in and them to get it right, at which point they appreciate my insistence!
Concerning young learners, creative play is the order of the day as we spend our time drawing ( I am also an artist in the free time I do not have!) and doing all sorts of arts and crafts which we both enjoy. This results in them,first of all learning to love the language at as early an age as I can get them...! as well as learning naturally and effortlessly.

I am a certified and appointable English and Greek teacher. I am what we call a perfect bilingual of Greek and English, as I am fluent in both languages, both of them being my native tongues.
I teach/instruc t in anything that has to do with English and Greek ie: all levels of teaching, certificate attainment ,teaching young children from age 2.5yrs,teachi ng adults, actor coaching, business English, help with terminology in a business environment( banking,medic ine, accounting, advertising, engineering etc). I also translate sites, manuals,assig nments etc to and from both languages.If there is anything you need which I have not mentioned, please feel free to drop me a line and ask....

I have taught ( mostly English as i live in Greece) for years. I am a freelance teacher and have been for more than 10 years. I have attended many seminars appart from my University certification - I started my university studies in Australia and finally graduated from the Greek University , Elliniko kai Kapodistriako Panepistimio Athinon, English literature.
I have participated in various teacher trainer courses and been an oral examiner for various language associations in the past.
