Teaching Approach

As a graduate student majored in English Composition-- ----Applied Linguistics & TESL and a second language learner myself, I know better how second language learners feel during the learning procedure.

I will try to put students immersed in the culture of target language by adoptting various methods in class such as stories, folk tales, pop songs,TV series, debate, immitation etc.

Do not worry some people claim that Chinese is one of the most difficult language to learn.

April has endless patience and will always try her best to make the learning interesting and delightful.

Program Description

Chinese lessons will be provided to students in any level in any form. I can simply offer lessons that deliver Chinese culture; or introduce daily conversation; or create systematic Chinese learning.

The content and the way students wish to go through will be discussed before the real class begin.

Curriculu m will also be discussed with students and certain changes can be made due to students' specific needs.

Teaching Experience

Having done the internship during graduate study for one quarter.

H aving being the teaching assistant in English First for four months.

Li ving with Anerican family and got some experience from teaching Chinese to them.
