Teaching Approach

The key to my approach is to make learning fun and interesting for each individual student. With new students, I develop a specific approach that combines reading, written assignments, and follow-up conversation about topics of interest to the student.

S tudents learn most quickly when they are discussing and writing about topics that they find most interesting. Some students are better suited to a highly structured approach, and others prefer a more relaxed, flexible learning style.

Program Description

I am a native speaker of English who has a standard non-regional American accent. Prior to moving to Germany, I was an engineer in the United States for 17 years. Most Germans find my English very easy to understand.

My approach is to develop a specific study plan of reading, writing, and conversation that closely matches each student's individual learning style and aspirations.
