We use strategies-ba sed instruction (SBI), a learner-focus ed approach to teaching that emphasizes both explicit and implicit integration of language learning and use strategies in the language classroom. The underlying premise of the strategies-ba sed approach is that learners are given the opportunity to understand not only what they can learn in the language classroom, but also how they can learn and use the language they are studying more effectively and efficiently.
We believe that each individual learner has his/her own learning styles and preferences. Learning becomes more effective where the learners find things out for themselves, so we encourage and help our learners to develop their own strategies suited to their learning styles and preferences in learning and using the language. Our teaching styles and
strategies are made suitable to the learner’s learning styles, which ultimately increase significantly the effectiveness of their learning the language.
The initial language programme is designed to assist learners to communicate in target language effectively. The course is taught in English and Nepali and includes coverage of the four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing and a balance between communicative activities, structure practice and grammar appropriate to their
particular context. The methodology and the courses we use help to expose the learner from the earliest stage to real-life dialogue in real-life situations. So, it helps to keep the learner interested and teach the learner language that can be used immediately.

Program Description

We have our own designed course books which enable learners to meet their short or long term learning goals, but learner’s individual needs and goals are given a high priority.
We apply learner’s centered teaching method with a comfortable, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We guarantee that the learner will feel the difference and confidence within a few days of lessons.
Along with the development of language skills, the course also provides the learners with an in-depth overview through coursework, discussion and field experience of culture, history, people and society. Throughout the course, advice will be given to help the learners adjust to cross-cultura l living from basic doing the shopping to the complex
nature of managing staff. Part of the programme includes home-stay with a Nepali family. All our tutors have many years of experience of teaching expatriates of International organizations and students from American Universities .
We offer the courses on following languages:
Nepali, Hindi, Newari, Gurung & Tibetan
The length of the course is determined by the need of the learner. However, We have following courses to offer:
· Survival Course: 2 - 4 weeks - 4 hrs/day
· Beginner’s Course: 2 months - 4 hrs/day
· Basic Course: 4 months - 3-4 hours/day
Other customised courses can also be arranged as per learner’s need and the length of stay in Nepal.
Distance Learning Course:
We offer correspondenc e course on Nepali language. Alternative to instructor-le d classroom teaching, correspondenc e instruction via the internet and email allows students to learn the language at their own pace from nearly anywhere and at any time, while reducing the time and cost associated with traditional classroom training. The learners
can learn to read, write and speak Nepali language on their own pace from home.
