I usually teach maths and sciences, but French is my passion and I would like to share it with others just as my mother who is a French literature teacher shared it with me.
I have been privately tutoring for years now, and I have worked as a nursery nurse for a few years as well, therefore, I feel very comfortable with young children and teenagers.

FIRST CONTACT :
I need to talk on the phone with the person I am going to tutor (even if that person is very young). You will need to let me know what you think is the problem, what you expect from me and how you want to work.
Then we meet. If, during this first lesson there is no good contact in-between us because our personalities are not compatible or for any other reason, I will let you know at an early stage and you won't have anything to pay.
If we make it to the end of this first lesson, then it becomes due. According to that first contact we have, we may decide to continue together, in which case we will set a list of goals to achieve and a work-program.
PAYMENT POLICY :
Payment by cash preferred. To be paid at the beginning of each lesson.
Fees not negociable.
AVAILABILITY :
My timetable changes every week, however I will let you know early enough for you to book minimum a week or two in advance.
T EACHING PLACE :
At your place in the living-room or in any public place convenient for you such as public library, quiet cafe ...
CANCEL LATION POLICY :
A lesson must be cancelled at least 3 days in advance, 4 if possible. If you fail to do so, the lesson will become due (not applicable in case of a last-minute emergency).
MUTUAL RESPECT :
I will always be decently dressed and behaved and I expect the same from my students. Football colours are not desirable, nor are stained/torn clothes or any neglected aspect.
Same for the language, no bad words, no swearing, no familiarity. I like to be addressed as Mademoiselle or Miss (which is a Vous-form in French). Let me know how you want to be addressed.
