Standard Arabic (Fus ha) and Colloquial Arabic (Egyptian)
- Conversation, grammar, reading, writing, poetry, literature
- Arabic as a second language
- Arabic for journalists, focusing on such things as understanding newspapers
- Intensive personalized crash courses (1 to 4 weeks)
My Method
Exe rcise:To learn a language you need practice, practice, practice!! Therefore much of my classes are devoted to exercise. "For those interested, I offer speaking practice classes. I strongly recommend to bring an audio recorder to each class."
Pe rsonalized learning plan: After determining my students' learning objectives and taking a test to determine their level, I take the time to create a personalized learning plan with a fitting curriculum.
Communicatio n: Language is not about rules and difficult grammar, it is about communication . Therefore, I avoid unnecessary complications and aim at teaching you to communicate in as little time as possible.
Arabic Society:Exper ience taught me most students of Arabic have an interest in Arab societies. Hence, the topics I use to practice with my students relate to the region's culture, religion, politics, music and literature.
