Learning a language only through exercises and grammar is boring and useless! I can say so because language lessons, at school, were really really boring!
Apar t from this fragmented way of learning a language displayed by teachers, they tended to speak in my mother language half of the time, so I realized that I was only waiting for the translation and I never made any efforts to try and find the solution for myself.
Ever y students or pupils can say so!
Why do we learn a language easier after two months abroad than after two years at school?
-Fir stly, because we are in total immersion. So if there are things or words we don't understand at once, it's not a problem, we'll have other opportunities to come across.
-Sec ondly because we are in a general context where we hear different persons speaking in a different way from the bus driver to the bank man.
My approach of teaching is based on these two things. I think this is the best way to improve yourself and to make the best of your money!

Program Description

I mostly operate with movies, but also what I find very pleasant and entertaining: comic-books. Comic-books are a great way to introduce grammar.
Because we need grammar.
It's just like with a guitar! If you spend two weeks learning a song, good for you. But you'll be able to play what? Only this song. Whereas if you learn scales and tunes, you can play pretty everything you want.
For every difficulties, you'll have pdf topical lessons that I'll hand it out, audio extract that I'll record for you and at the end of each lesson, you'll have an extract of a book that you'll be able to read to get some practice in a funny way plus (of course like in school) some exercises.
I am graduated in English (M.A's in American Literature) from the Université de Bretagne Occidentale, Brest, France and I spent two years teaching french as an Assistant in Scotland. I am also DEFL & TOEFL Certified.

-What is your teaching schedule?
It depends on you! If, when you are available, it is 4 a.m where I am, I'll be up. Learning is my priority. So there is no day, no night, no week-days and no week-end. It's up to you (unless I have something urgent of course. In that case, we will reschedule)
-How do I pay?
Weste rn Union or Paypal. After the first hour, you can book for a single lesson (20€) or book for a module (6 hours on the same topic: 100€ which is 20% discount!). Please pay 24 hours before the lesson start!
-I have a specific question. How can I reach you?
Once you are registered as my learner, you can reach me anytime. If you're not one of my registered learner, fell free to ask!!
