Teaching Approach

I believe that for anybody to become proficient in a language they need to practise their speaking and listening skills on a regular basis. While reading and writing a language may go some way towards helping students improve their basic language skills, it is vital that they immerse themselves in that language through speaking it. Language learners must also make the effort to read widely and often, and this can often be done without help from the teacher.

Program Description

If you need to improve your written English contact me. I have several years' teaching and tutoring experience. My success rates are quite high and I always help my students realise their full potential.

Teaching Experience

I specialised in English language and Literature at university and have eight years teaching experience. I am a qualified British teacher currently working full-time as an English language teacher in a private British school here in Kuwait.

Teacher Training

Besides teaching English to high school students I have also worked at language institutes teaching English to the very young, and adults. I hold a post graduate certificate in education from the UK.

Frequently Asked Questions

Teaching schedule: student(s) turn up at my house for their lesson. Lessons normally take place in the late afternoon or early evening, and Saturdays. I don't teach on Fridays.

P ayment policy: I prefer to be paid at the end of each lesson.

Re levant experience: As a full time English teacher I am constantly honing my skills and improving my teaching methods to better suit my students' learning abilities.

Cost of Lessons

I charge 20 KD per hour, per student, to be paid at the end of the session. Time wasters need not apply.
