How about learning some well spoken Portuguese that is fun and easy? If you are planning to visit the tropical Brazil and check out its natural beauties, dance "samba", sing some "bossa nova"; if you work for companies that do business with Brazil, a country that is going through great development due to oil, aircraft, cattle, agriculture, to mention a few; or just because you want to improve yourself by learning new culture... My classes are just right for you! I am Liane, a native Brazilian lady,who has a BA in Portuguese Language and Literature, who has years of experience teaching Portuguese for companies corporations, several schools, and many individuals (one on one) in Brazil, England, and the USA.
I like the communicative approach, however, I adapt my teaching methods to the students' needs and preferences.
I offer classes for children, teens, and adults; group and individual personalized instruction; corporate and private lessons. I also prepare students to take "CELPE- Bras", the only Brazilian Proficiency test approved by Brazilian Goverment.
Hours and rates are flexible to meet students' needs.

- Cancellation policy - 24 hour notice, otherwise, payment has to be made in full;
- The fact that I have experience teaching English to foreigners helps tremendously in the process of teaching Portuguese as a Foregin Language as well; not to mention that I have taught Portuguese to several different nationalities ; to top it off, I am not only a Brazilian, I chose to be a teacher, I have a BA in languages, so I know the ins and outs of teaching a language. Would you go to a doctor, a lawyer, or a dentist without the necessary credentials to practice his/her carreer? I would not.
