Fluent Latin Speaker and Latin Textbook Author!
I teach Latin, Ancient Greek, Spanish, and English. My approach to teaching all languages is essentially the same, a dual focus on grammar and conversation. The awful truth is that most students who study a language never end up learning it because of poor curriculum and/or teaching. Most ancient language curriculum (Latin, Ancient Greek, etc.) neglects conversation, while most modern language curriculum (Spanish, English, French, etc.) fails to teach the student the basic structure and logic of the language. If a student wishes to gain advanced competence (and enjoy the journey!), then both aspects must be included.
I am the founder and owner of my own Latin tutoring company, which employs a small group of elite Latin tutors and follows three distinct Latin courses for students of various ages. Five years ago I wrote a full-color illustrated Conversationa l Latin textbook along with more than 100 full-color Grammar and Vocabulary Reference Sheets for use with our Latin students.

Founder of My Own Online Latin Tutoring Company!
I n 2008 I founded a Latin tutoring company that over 15 years has served students of all ages and levels from around the world. Our tutors follow my own curriculum, which I developed over two decades of teaching. This curriculum includes specific courses for students 6th grade and under, junior-high level, and high-school/a dult. Our 6th-Grade-and -Under Course follows the Lingua Latina text; our Junior High Course follows the Linney's Latin text, and our High-School/A dult course follows the Wheelock text. We integrate my full-color Conversationa l Latin textbook and reference sheets into all three course levels as well.
Author of a Full-Color Illustrated Conversationa l Latin Textbook and an Online Library of Grammar and Vocabulary Reference Sheets!
About 5 years ago I wrote a full-color, twenty-chapte r Conversationa l Latin Textbook, which we now use in all three of our Latin courses. Soon after that I put together more than 100 full-color illustrated Grammar and Vocabulary Reference Sheets, which all of our tutors and students have access to through our online Archives. These Reference Sheets cover the entire range of Latin grammar and go far toward simplifying a difficult and complex language.
In the end Latin is never easy to learn (which is why most students fail), but with experienced teaching, effective curriculum, and detailed planning any student can succeed. If a student is dedicated to the subject and does the work on a regular basis, then that student WILL do well in our program, and if the student sticks with it long term, then the student WILL learn the language.

I have many years teaching experience, both in-person and online. Since 2008 I have been teaching Latin online for my own online Latin education company, using a live audio/video web conferencing format. I have also worked as a private tutor for twenty years, in a variety of subjects, including Latin, Spanish, English, Ancient Greek, Writing, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Geology, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and History.
