Program Description

Linguistic Centre RELOD, founded in September, 27th, in 1997, now is the market leader in education in foreign languages in Kirov (Russia). RELOD comprises several departments: Centre of Education and International Cooperation, Travel Agency, Translation Agency, and the Centre of the Russian Language and Culture. Special projects at the Linguistic Center RELOD are constantly implemented.
The Centre of the Russian Language and Culture offers a variety of courses of the Russian language for all levels on an individual and group basis. The Centre also assists with preparation for entrance exams and contacts with Russian universities.
For the foreign students RELOD has Summer Camp.
Cent re of International Cooperation offers you the help in locating business partners in the Kirov region, adjusts the business contacts with Kirov region enterprises.
Travel Agency provides holiday arrangement around the Kirov Region where you can enjoy the atmosphere of the Russian hinterlands.
Translation Agency provides professional translation and interpretatio n from over forty languages.
Our staff consists of many highly-qualif ied and experienced translators and proofreaders including native speakers of different languages.

Academic programms
The Centre of the Russian Language and Culture offers Russian language instruction for foreigners based on a variety of programs of different levels individually and in groups.
We provide preparation for entrance exams to institutions of higher education in Kirov and all of Russia and assistance in the negotiations with the latter.
We also offer certification testing for those who want to confirm their level of fluency in Russian, to get higher education in a Russian university or work in Russia
We offer courses of Business Russian.
We provide a unique opportunity to master your Russian and get an insight into Russian culture in the country of the language and make acquaintances with native speakers.
We have committee that will test you and according to the results will award you the level that coincides with your knowledge of the Russian language.

If you don’t want to learn Russian in a group as you want nobody to interfere with your process of study you can choose an alternative type of a lesson - an individual class.
Cos t of individual lessons is from 12 dollars per hour depending on the specific content and currency converter.

Levels
Beginn er (A1)
Encom passes everyday conversation topics and basic grammatical concepts. Our goal on this level is to give you a basic idea of Russian grammar as a whole, to teach you to form simple every day sentence, and to be able to converse in everyday situations.
Advanced Beginner (A2)
Succe ssful completion of this level will give you a greater grasp of social terminology and phraseology. You will be able communicate effectively in topics related to provision of services and to visiting public places. You will have a more confident grasp of Russian grammar. Our goal on this level is to help you feel comfortable in Russian daily life.
TRKI -1 Intermediate (B1)
Succe ssful completion of this training level is required for acceptance into a Russian university, and for obtaining Russian citizenship. You will be competent in most oral communication situations, will be able to express your opinion on social and cultural events, and will be able to give advice. You will have an improved understanding of Russian grammar, and will be able to express your thoughts in more complex sentences through use of a variety of speech models.
TRKI-2 Upper Intermediate (B2)
Knowl edge of Russian on this level is essential for the foreigner who wants to work in Russia in a non-education al profession. At this level you will comprehend texts of all themes, and will be able to express your opinion related to the issues presented. This level entails a significant expansion of your vocabulary, which will allow you to confidently discuss topics such as climate, travel and work. On this training level you will discuss topics such as youth lifestyles, ecology and interpersonal relations. You will learn to correctly use the different parts of speech, and to adequately express your thoughts and feelings.
TRKI-3 Advanced (C1)
Comma nd of Russian on this level affords the ability to conduct scholarly research, as well as to work as a translator, interpreter or diplomat. A certificate of completion on this training level is essential to receive a higher education diploma in Russia. The knowledge acquired from this training level shall allow you to spontaneously react to, and express your detailed thoughts on, texts of any difficulty level. This level entails high competence in all areas of interaction, including those related to literature, art, politics and geography.
TRKI-4 Upper Advanced (C2)
This knowledge level corresponds to that of a native-langua ge speaker. Knowledge of Russian on this level is required to work as a professional educator in Russia, and to receive a Russian diploma in higher philological studies.
