Teaching Approach

I prefer to use the western approach to teaching, which provides ample time for reflection on what has been learned so that it is properly incorporated into the student;s existing knowledge.

I also prefer to take into account the learning styles of individual students. Some students respond to aural, some to visual and some to kinaesthetic (i.e. physical- doing something) approaches.

Theae factors favour students who are serious about learning English, rather than those who just want a bit of holiday English

Program Description

My English teaching experience is mainly in preparation for IELTS for students planning to study abroad at English speaking universities.

However I have a long background in business and particularly computing. Therefore, I am particularly well placed to assist those with a business or technical objective.

Teaching is available afternoons or evenings on any day of the week.

For the first two lessons, payment after the lesson
There after, payment at least one lesson in advance, or as suits the student. (This policy is to ensure commitment on the part of the student.)
