Teaching Approach

Advanced students tell me areas they want to focus on, whether that is expanding formal English vocabulary or perfecting their accent, we will work together with simple exercises. The more exposed we are to a language and a variety of accents the easier it becomes to follow.
For beginners and intermediate students we will pay most attention to listening and speaking, perfecting the art of basic conversation while expanding vocabulary and grammar.

Program Description

Lessons will meet your needs as a learner of English. My lessons are very adaptable to suit a wide variety of learners. Lessons include an introduction to or advancement on grammar, translations, pronunciation , accents, letter writing, job interviews, resumes, specific business language and much more. We will focus on your weaker areas while strengthening your foundation in an easy fun fashion.

Teaching Experience

I have taught English to young children to retired adults in State Schools and Private Language Institutes over 3/4 years. I have worked in classrooms with no resources and classrooms with the best teaching resources possible! The most important aspects are willing students and a positive teacher!

Teacher Training

Studied at Secondary School and University in Scotland. Received TEFL teaching certifcate 2008.
