I offer language classes encompassing a variety of approaches to language learning in order to ensure that the learning styles of each student are met.
Learning a language is easiest and most efficient when practiced within the contexts which surround it. Therefore, classes will incorporate all aspects of the language such as: art, literature, history, film, dance, and cuisine, for example. Students may participate in classes to the extent they feel most comfortable and not only are classes culturally informative and fun, they also focus on grammar and communication .

Innovative and exciting individual & group Spanish lessons
Ar e you looking to learn Spanish in a comfortable, fun and educational group setting at an inexpensive price?
I offer innovative classes that will incorporate all aspects of the language such as: art, literature, history, film, dance, and cuisine, for example.
I have over 10 years speaking and studying the language and over 5 years teaching locally and abroad, in both group and individual classes.

Teaching Experience

In 2007, I studied Spanish literature and advanced Spanish grammar at the University of the Americas in Puebla, Mexico in addition to having lived, studied, taught and volunteered in various Spanish-speak ing countries.
I have over 10 years speaking and studying the language and over 5 years teaching locally and abroad, in both group and individual classes.

Teacher Training

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from UBC with a major in Spanish as well as an Associate of Arts degree, concentrating in Latin America Studies from Langara College.

Frequently Asked Questions

|
Lessons are offered twice a week and are two hours in length.
One part of the lesson will concentrate on the structure of the language and the other will focus on putting the information into different practical contexts in a way that is interesting, fun and educational.

Classes are held in New Westminster, 1 block from Columbia Skytrain Station.
CLASSES START:
Tue sday, September 8th 3:30-6:30pm
Every Tuesday and Friday 3:30-6:30pm
Cultural outings and social events will also be organized; students can choose to participate at their own cost.

DROP IN rate:
$25 per 2 hour class
(If your schedule is tight or varies from week to week, this is a great option for you)
MONTHLY rate:
$160 for two 2-hour classes each week for a month
(this means you’re only paying $10 an hour!)
