Teaching Approach

This program will help those beginning to learn the Thai language because it will provide constant one-on-one attention. The learned can choose whether he or she wants to learn only spoken thai or if they want to learn to read and write thai as well (recommended because mastering Thai script will help a learner understand spoken Thai). My hours are flexible and how quick the student learns depends on the amount of time they want to put into it.

Program Description

I am willing to offer private lessons for those with an interest in learning the Thai language. I have just recently returned from Thailand where I learned to speak, read and write the langauge. This course would be most suited for beginners. As someone who is not a native speaker, I have been through the process of learning this language and understand some of the techniques that are necessary to master Thai.

Teaching Experience

I am a student who learned Thai because I spent two years as a volunteer missionary in Thailand. I was given two months beforehand of intense language training, afterwhich I was immmersed in the Thai culture and language. I studied the language daily both indivdually, with more advanced missionaries, and most importantly my communicating with the Thai people.

Teacher Training

I am currently a student with experience learning multiple foreign languages as well as a mastery of the english language. My most relevant education when it comes to teaching Thai comes from my experience in Thailand.

The price is negotiable depending on the student and how much time they want to spend in the class.
