Hi, I am looking to learn polish from the beginning. The reason i am looking to learn polish is that i currently live in Glasgow with my polish girlfriend and we are considering moving back to poland so i would need to know the language. I am looking to learn grammer and conversation. I also work full time, however i work different shift so i could work classes around this so i can be fully dedicated to learning. I am looking for a teacher to be understanding that i am just starting to learn but also to have the attitude that i should be pushed to learn quickly, correctly and efficiently.

my girlfriend and i are planning on moving to Poland. My polish is ok but i know a could learn a lot more with a tutor and i want to. My girlfriend is polish and so are her family (who don't speak english). i want to get to know her family better by being able to communicate with them without needing her to translate. i am willing to speand as much time as possible.

I am a complete beginner although I knew a few words and phrases.
I need to learn Polish as my partner is polish. We have a 4 month old baby and are therefore starting to visit his family in Poland regularly and communication is a problem as his English is not always up to translation. Also my partner speaks to our son only in Polish in the hope that he will become bi lingual.
I would like to spend a few hours a week learning polish.

I have never attempted to learn Polish before (I only know a few basic words) so I am a complete beginner! I would really like to learn Polish as I have a lot of family over in Poland and would like to travel over there to meet them next year. My grandfather was Polish, and I feel like I would like to know more about the language and Poland as a whole. Learning Polish also has obvious career advancements too. I am a full time Psychology student at Strathclyde University, therefore will not be able to dedicate all of my time to learning the language. However a few evenings a week or afternoons would fit in well! Qualities that I would look for in a teacher: easy to talk to, flexible with lesson times, and patient! I would ideally like lessons to be at a beginners level, and include all aspects of the language: conversationa l, listening and writing.
For French: I did French until Higher level at school, so I am not a beginner. However my memory of verbs is quite rusty! I would like to learn French as I love France! I go there on holiday a lot, and aim to travel around France next summer. I need improvement in all areas of the French language, especially in listening as I find this very hard to pick up! As I am a full-time student, a few evenings or afternoons a week would fit in well. I would like my French lessons to contain all aspects of the French language, but especially listening as I find this very hard! I would also like to concentrate on conversationa l French.
