I am in Oman for 2 months and want to learn Arabic. I have a very rudimentary knowledge of the language from having taken courses in grade school. I know the script but that's all. I am looking for a conversationa l way of learning where I can also be introduced to Arab culture and alternative methods of learning such as comics, cartoons, movies, newspapers, books, etc.

I want to learn conversationa l arabic which is the standard one. I am a beginner and knows very little of the Arabic language. I can spend around 30-45 minutes twice a week. I am looking for a very clear and simple learning process. I expect that the teacher can translate the Arabic language into English so that I can understand it fully.

Company has re-located to Oman and wish to converse with local and indian expatriates.
I have no knowledge of the language and will find it difficult to learn in a clss room environment so i would need a patient ,preferabbly female teacher.
I work from 8 to 6 and can take classes at night. i can travel to anywhere within 30km of Intercontenti al hotel.
