I wish to learn Russian because I am traveling to Ukraine in July. I am a beginner and I would like to begin a foundation to converse and to be able to read cyrillic. I have until July 12 when I leave. i am looking for a native speaker who can help me. I have tried some books and software but I have questions that I have no one to ask and I wish to speak with some one who is familiar with the language to help me with pronunciation and accent. I'm a student finishing a BA in Russian this May. I've spent time in Russia, but I have forgetten many things already. I'd like to further my ability to speak Russian well for my own gratification , if nothing else.
I'd like to develop better conversationa l skills and renew confidence in speaking with a native speaker. My grammer needs help, I often stutter, and I don't anunciate as well as I should.
I' m looking for a teacher who will converse with me and challenge my skills. I'm looking for live interaction, not email. I am willing to put forward at least 10 hrs/wk.
